The Kansas Occupational Therapy Association Political Action Committee (KOT PAC) is a political committee sponsored and organized by KOTA to help support the campaigns of policymakers and leaders who understand issues important to occupational therapist. The PAC allows support to candidates that will be involved in making laws, rules, and regulations that affect you as a professional in occupational therapy.

It is critical that the occupational therapy industry be involved in the politics that can impact the degree of regulation. The ability for the Occupational therapy industry to thrive often hinges on political support when dealing with statue, regulatory, or policy changes. It is imperative to support industry champions as well as inform membership on respective positions.
